Hi everyone! After a LONG hiatus, I've decided to become a blogger again because I was sure my friends missed reading about the minutiae of my everyday life. So here we go...
This morning I volunteered at the local food bank as part of an outreach program through work. I haven't been to a food bank since high school and I have to say that rapidly packing canned goods and ripping apart old boxes is a great way to let out your aggression. Since I don't play any sports (although I want to take up tennis), I think this might be something I need to do again.
As a result of my volunteering, I think I've contracted a disease called Cardboard Lung. Although I might be the only known case (a.k.a. patient zero), some of the symptoms are broken cuticles and a headache. Or maybe the headache is stemming from my consumption of a bag of Reese's Pieces.
So that's my first posting. Hope you come back soon. But in the meantime, I'll leave you with these final tidbits:
Question of the day: Should gravy and chicken broth be considered soup products?
Song stuck in my head: Michael Jackson's P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing). Maybe THAT'S causing my headache!
Weather: 52 degrees and loving it!

Welcome back!

So glad you're back, Cindy. I enjoy visiting you via the blog world. By the way:
SOUP: a liquid food made by boiling or simmering meat, fish, or vegetables with various added ingredients.
Gravy's a tough one but broth seems to be a soup with the cooked ingredients removed... just a thought
