...would be the first step toward rational living, I think." - Eleanor Roosevelt
I woke up this morning with a sudden need to purge - thankfully, not in the dietary sense. I've already confessed to being a pack rat (I keep magazines for way too long, some of my purses are now out of style and exactly why did I bookmark Best Cities to Educate Your Child in my overflowing Favorites list?) and I'm beginning to feel like I'm drowning in a sea of junk masquerading as necessities. Sorry, Britney, but you and the articles about your fishnets are going in the trash.
Let the cleansing begin!
Recent book purchases: Snow Angels (the movie is getting positive reviews); Tweak (Nic Sheff's true story about his drug addiction); Beautiful Boy (Nic's father's take on his son's drug addition); The Case for Faith (an impulse buy, but seemed like good brain food.)
Recent pet peeve: Unnatural glee.
So excited for: My Cabo trip in May! I'm visualizing....
I need: 10 hours of sleep.
I'm getting: 6 hours of sleep.
