Dr. Cindy, at your service

I came to the realization that someone I work with is a "power drain" to me. I previously spoke about power drains in my last blog entry and after some thought I realized I should avoid this person if I can. I've worked with her for years and consider(ed) her a friend, but after a meeting in which nothing in particular happened, I still walked away completely exhausted. I realized she sucks the energy right out of me...always. And because she won't change (and why should she?), I've decided the only thing I can do is take control and slowly distance myself. I really don't think she'd care, which says a lot about my "friend."

This type of thinking has really allowed me to somewhat de-stress my life. I urge you to do the same!

The goal: To be a fully-charge person who has achieved 100% mastery of their self-control, personal integrity and behavior. Use this goal to figure out how you can deal with your power drains!

Good luck!

read the book: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle

It may explain the power drain to you.
