I've never been a true believer in yoga. I've done it before; I have the tapes and books to prove it, although one VHS tape is still in its wrapping. But I freely admit to being wrong plenty of times about what my body and mind need and are capable of (see: my now defunct argument that diet sodas are harmless and water can go "f" itself). Therefore, I've decided to try yoga three times a week. This is going to be tough considering I've only been to yoga once since I signed up at my gym nearly five months ago. But I'm determined, especially since I've been feeling major stress from work and life that has affected my sleep and general mood. So if twisting my body into a certain crunchy snack food might help...why not? I'll let you know how it goes.

Fun! If you don't like a specific class, there are so many different types of yoga so try others too. Certain types suit different people so it might take a couple classes to find a type you like. And make sure your teacher is certified. Over zealous teachers can be dangerous.
