I recently volunteered (with my team from work) at a local non-profit organization that helps young people getting their GEDs. After going over interview tips for an hour or so, we ended the afternoon with "An Exercise for Reflection." The exercise was to pick (from the image above) which child best reflected us at that moment. You can see that each kid has a different purpose, action or facial expression. I picked the kid on the far left contemplating in the tree while the GED student I was paired with picked the kid at the very top looking into the sky.
Which one are you?

That's funny. I wonder who came up with this exercise? I think I'm the one about to climb the tree and join the others. I think because I am anticipating lots of change in my life ahead, maybe some "catching up" to where I think I should be. I wonder if introverts are more likely to choose the perepheral children, and extroverts the ones in the middle.
